State-of-the-art automatic viscometer systems for multiple oil and petroleum applications

Omnitek’sU-Viscis a fully automatic, high throughput, kinematic viscometer complying with ASTM D445/D446, features a wide viscosity range between 0.15 and 25,000 mm2/s and integrated sample carrousel and is ideal for petroleum products, petrochemical fluids and diluted solutions viscosity testing.

Several different models are available covering a variety of applications including QC, R&D and used oil analysis; each version of the U-Visc meets the related ASTM, EN, ISO, JIS and DIN standards. This instrument can process as many as 40 samples (depending on their viscosity) in an hour unattended, so even labs needing to run hundreds of samples in day are catered for.

Operators can insert the sample into the viscometer by either the vacuum or pressure methods and this user-friendly instrument also features extremely accurate temperature control and simple viscometer tube exchange. Omnitek also offer optional Duplo viscometer tubes for use with unstable samples.
